2010年12月，吉兒為愛走天涯，從寒流過境的台北搬到一年到頭盛夏的峇里島山城--烏布。與來自澳洲的先生小羅兩人蓋了自己的屋子，經營起峇里島民宿，開了間印尼復古傢俱傢飾店及咖啡館。2012年2月，兩人迎接寶貝-小邁的來臨，一同展開熱帶島嶼三人行。
